Minute-taking Made Easy

Taking minutes can feel like a huge responsibility – but it doesn’t have to. Would you like to feel confident that your minutes are a usable and effective record of a meeting? Do you need your minutes to convey transparency, accountability and good governance? Are you facing new challenges with online meetings?

There’s much more to minute-taking than just turning up at a meeting with a pen. Minutes must accurately reflect the decisions taken and actions agreed at a meeting. They must also be clear, concise and polished. On this minute-taking workshop, you’ll learn to develop your personal shorthand, write less during a meeting, prepare for the writing-up stage and convey information clearly.

This workshop is for anyone who takes minutes – whether it’s for a team meeting or a Board meeting, or anywhere in between. We’ve delivered it to staff and managers in many organisations, from public sector agencies to universities.

Date: To be confirmed. Please contact us for details.

Time: 2pm-5pm. For this Zoom workshop, you’ll need good internet, a microphone and, if possible, a webcam. You’ll also need pen and paper to take notes. After you book, we’ll send you the link and password.
