Plain English workshop on 14 January

50,00

Do you want to read once – and understand immediately? Yes? Well, so do your customers and colleagues. No-one wants to re-read because messages are unclear. That’s where plain English can help. Whether you’re writing emails, reports, guides or web content, applying the principles of plain English means you can communicate clearly and effectively for your target audiences.

This practical workshop will introduce you to the benefits and key concepts of plain English. You’ll learn how to follow simple guidelines to improve the language, structure and accessibility of your communications. You’ll also have the opportunity to work through practical examples in small groups.

Time: 2pm-4.30pm. For this Zoom session, you’ll need good internet, a microphone and, if possible, a webcam. You’ll also need pen and paper to take notes. After you book, we’ll send you the link and password.
